Every journey begins somewhere. Some start organically, others need a nudge from outside. My journey into regular workouts began the hard way. But today, I consider myself lucky for how it all unfolded.

So to the beginning. I was not very athletic, although with naturally good genes. At school I was often avoiding physical education classes even though I could run fastest if I wanted because of my natural physique. Then, in my 30s, I slightly began experiencing back pains due to long hours at the office and minimal movement. It reached a point where getting out of bed became a painful ordeal. 
As fate would have it, during a transition period at the current company I worked at and with marketing activities on hold, I found myself with some extra time. This led me to the gym during extended lunch breaks. As I progressed, not only did my pains diminish, but I also discovered a newfound passion for fitness.

Today, as a certified Personal Fitness Trainer, fitness is not just a routine for me; it's a lifestyle I've passionately embraced for over ten years. Along this journey, I also took up tennis, which perfectly complements my fitness routine.

Having experienced it firsthand, I strongly believe in the transformative power of fitness, not just for physical health but also for mental well-being. Fitness, to me, is about finding balance, challenging oneself, and relishing the journey of personal growth and improvement.

Don't stop loving yourself during difficult moments. Growth often comes with pain, and although it might not be evident now, you're changing in many ways. You are becoming wiser and stronger, healing and rediscovering yourself. Nurture yourself with compassion and have faith in the purpose of this transformation. One day you'll look back with gratitude because you never gave up.

I continually strive to improve my techniques together with my own coach. Yes, every coach has a coach whether in fitness or for life.

 

I try to expand my knowledge, and stay abreast of the latest fitness trends to provide the best guidance for those I train. As a fitness coach, I find that teaching others is a reciprocal process. Each session offers new insights into human resilience, strength, and motivation, as everyone's fitness journey is unique.
